The Site Security Manager (SSM) serves as the day-to-day manager of a 24/7 datacenter physical security operations team, supporting a client’s datacenter or other critical facility. Reporting to a Campus Security Manager (CSM), the SSM builds a cohesive, high-performing team that delivers a safe, secure, and compliant environment while meeting client expectations. The SSM also collaborates with other campus security leaders to maintain consistent security standards across the campus. Additional responsibilities may include client service and issue resolution, service enhancements, Security Operations Center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log and documentation maintenance, and access rights administration.
