Kitchen Technician

About this job

Disassembles damaged or worn kitchen equipment in shop; performs repairs and rebuilds operations such as rewiring and replacing bearings, bushings, brushes, and centrifugal or on-off switches. Performs the maintenance and repair of a variety of commercial kitchen equipment, electrical and gas appliances, tools, and other equipment as assigned. Implements services and inspections to all kitchen & related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications. Responds to all emergency calls, power failure, fuel service failure, etc. Carries a two-way radio at all times on their shift. Adheres to and remains aware of all property and departmental safety procedures. Interprets and communicates operating procedures and failures to upper management.…
