The Procedure Tech reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Procedure Tech provides support service to the nurses, physicians and other health care professionals related to daily operations of the department. The position facilitates patient flow to and from the waiting area and exam/procedural areas. Duties include setup work of exam/procedure room before patient arrival, assisting the nurse or physician in timely room turnover between procedures, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, ordering and restocking supplies.…
