Chemical Operator 1 POSITION SUMMARY Preform operator duties at the Ashland, Ohio facility. THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING. Must follow all Safety Rules, Regulations, Operating Procedures, Corporate/Plant Policies and Laws always. Be able to lift 50 pounds safely. Safely operate an industrial lift truck (sit down and stand up) Compounding and staging of raw materials. Blending of chemicals and powders Charging liquid chemicals and powders to mixers Monitoring mixers during mixing and reaction Use of distributed control systems to control and monitor process.
