Position Overview: AbbVie’s Immunology Discovery Research organization seeks an impactful scientific leader to manage pioneering research in Gastroenterology/IBD. A successful candidate should have a deep understanding of mucosal immunology, and will lead a team of discovery scientists within the broader Gastroenterology team focused primarily on delivering novel therapeutics from target identification through preclinical development and first-in-human studies. A deep understanding of establishing and validating novel disease-relevant translational endpoints, both immune and non-immune, in drug development as well as a proven track record of delivering drug candidates to various stages within the discovery pipeline are essential.…
