The Bed Planner reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Responsibilities: Determines the most appropriate level of care and ensures a smooth admission experience for patients by coordinating clinical needs with operational processes and insurance benefits. Chart review is used to assess for appropriate level of care. Assigns patients to the appropriate units based on clinical assessment while balancing the resources of the organization. Coordinates with unit charge nurse for bed placement. Collaborates with nursing operations leader for throughput issues.…
