Brief Summary of Position In this role you will be responsible for operating machine tools to produce precision parts to support the departments of Engineering, Maintenance, and Production. You will produce small batches or large quantities of parts and ensure products meet precise specifications according to the blueprints. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Calculate dimensions, tolerances, and positioning using micrometers, Vernier calipers, and math skills. Determine proper feeds, speeds, and material removal for cutting and finishing operations.…
