The Intake Coordinator HME reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Under the direction of the Director of Home Medical Equipment the Intake Coordinator is responsible for receiving referrals requesting the level of service in the continuum of care. Review the patients’ chart to obtain demographic, insurance and relevant clinical information. Verify the orders and health insurance benefits meet the qualification requirement to receive Home Medical Equipment according to Medicare, Medicaid and third party payer guidelines.…
