About this job

Responsible for logistics planning for one or more value streams. This includes forecasting, supplier planning, customer planning and inventory management. Understand customer requirements, both short term and long term. Communicate to the organization anything that may need action—i.e. customer shutdowns, significant increases or decreases in requirements, etc. Ensure supplier releases are accurate and being sent as planned. Notify the organization of anything of concern—i.e. past due status, supplier shutdown or other production interruption, stop ship notifications, supplier capacity constraints, etc. Communicate customer requirements and supplier constraints to the production areas. Provide logistical expertise during new product launches and engineering changes.…
