Personal Assistant to a 12-year-old boy

We are looking for a warm, positive and reliable caregiver/personal assistant to support a soon-to-be 12-year-old boy living in Lidingö, Stockholm. He is a happy and social boy who loves life, laughter and being around people. We are looking for someone who would like to become an important and trusted part of his everyday life, providing personal care and support as well as energy, warmth and joy. The position is approximately 20-30 hours per week, mainly on weekday afternoons from around 3 pm to 8 pm. A typical afternoon starts with picking him up from school and travelling home together to Lidingö by public transport. About the role As his caregiver/personal assistant, you will support him with his everyday needs. Your responsibilities will include: · Picking him up from school and travelling home with him · Assisting with medication · Feeding and meals · Personal hygiene and dressing · Activities, play and outings · Providing safety, structure and support throughout the afternoon Above all, we are looking for someone who is stable, warm, responsible and positive. You enjoy spending time with children, are sociable and solution-oriented, and feel comfortable taking initiative. Previous experience working with children or people with disabilities is an advantage, but we place great importance on personal suitability, attitude and personality. The role is active and involves some lifting and physical assistance, so you need to be physically strong and comfortable with an active job. Swedish is not required. The family particularly welcomes English-speaking applicants, and a good command of English is an advantage.
