Junior Engine Test Engineer

About the Role You will work hands-on in an advanced automotive test environment where engines, test cells, and measurement systems need to perform reliably around the clock. In this role, you help prepare and run tests, secure the quality of measurement data, and keep the testbed environment stable and robust. You will be part of a collaborative team working close to both test equipment and test objects, with a clear focus on practical problem-solving and continuous improvement. Job Description You will prepare test cells, test objects, and associated equipment for planned test activities. You will install engines in the test cell and connect the equipment relevant for each test. You will set up and run tests in the test cells and help ensure correct test execution. You will monitor measurement data quality and help make sure the required quality level is met. You will report issues with test cells or test objects and actively contribute to fault tracing and troubleshooting. You will perform service work and support maintenance to keep the testbeds capable, robust, and available with high uptime. You will handle daily updates of time reporting and diaries. You will provide technical support within the team when needed. You will write instructions and how-to materials and help keep knowledge within the area up to date. Requirements B.Sc. or Technical college graduate together with working experience of similar tasks. Good knowledge of automotive test cell systems, including AVL PUMA and ETAS INCA. Fluent in Swedish and English. Nice to have Experience from mechanical work or testing. Forklift license and driver's license.
