We are therefore looking for a Structural Lead to join us on this journey, becoming an integral part of our growing organisation and helping evolve our international data centre environment through your expertise in complex projects. As Structual Lead, you will bring your expertise in structural engineering into multidisciplinary teams, helping translate customer needs into robust and future-ready solutions. You will be part of a professional environment experiencing rapid growth and strong strategic focus within COWI, with opportunities to deepen your expertise, grow alongside the organisation, and play an active role in shaping our approach to data centre projects and customer collaboration. Your key responsibilities will be to: Act as Structural Lead on international data centre projects, accountable for scope, budget, and schedule for structural works. Engage with international data centre clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust design solutions aligned with project delivery stages (e.g. RIBA stages). Support projects across the full lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design, construction, and commissioning. Collaborate within multidisciplinary international teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Contribute to the development of the department’s international market presence and business growth. Guide and mentor structural engineers and designers. Your skills. Our team. On top of that, you will have: A degree in civil or structural engineering with solid experience from data centre projects or other large-scale mission critical projects. Experience working with engineering consultancy in multidiciplinary industrial projects, or complex infrastructure projects. Experience leading structural engineering teams. Professional proficiency in English. Work location. The role can be based in any of our offices across Scandinavia. This includes offices in: Norway – Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Oslo, Bodø, Drammen, Hamar, Haugesund, Kristiansand, Tromsø and Fredrikstad Sweden – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Karlstad, Skövde, Stenungsund, Vänersborg, Växsjö, and Malmö Denmark – Copenhagen, Kongens Lyngby, Vejle, Aarhus, Odense, Esbjerg, Ringsted and Aalborg We work in international and multidisciplinary teams, and many of our projects are delivered across offices and borders.
