Job Description: An opportunity for a Stress engineer for Eurodrone and UAVs has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). MAIN ACTIVITIES Stress analysis of metallic, composite & hybrid structures, using Airbus Defence & Space methods, potentially from concept and structural development to certification and in-service maintenance. Sizing of the structural components, parts and assemblies from static point of view. Analyse and validate at component level for static strength and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable Airbus methods & sizing processes. Perform detailed analysis in CAD/CAM or (software) implementation on component/ equipment/ mechanical/ software level to the specifications required.…
