Aircraft Technician - SAS Maintenance Production TRD SAS Maintenance Production at Trondheim Værnes Airport (TRD) is part of SAS' integrated aircraft maintenance organization. Our primary mission is to ensure airworthy aircraft, delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. We perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting on SAS-operated aircraft, including the Airbus A320 family and Embraer E1/E2. We are a small team with skilled aircraft technicians, providing operational coverage 24/7/365. We are now looking for dedicated and skilled Aircraft Technicians to join our team and continue SAS' proud tradition of excellence in aircraft maintenance. Key Responsibilities The role involves performing scheduled maintenance checks and carrying out component replacements, as well as troubleshooting aircraft systems and components to ensure optimal performance. You will ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with approved manuals and applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to LEAN initiatives and actively support continuous improvement and operational optimization processes, while consistently maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and quality in all aspects of your work. Qualifications Licensed Aircraft Technician or under Part-66 training Valid EASA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License Preferred type rating on SAS-operated aircraft Airbus A320/A330/A350 and/or Embraer E1/E2 Proven experience in aircraft system troubleshooting Good command of English and Norwegian (written and spoken) Additional skills such as Sheet Metal and Composite or other relevant skills are highly valued We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, is flexible and solution-oriented, and demonstrates strong collaboration and communication skills.
