As part of the VARD Group, we work closely with shipowners, designers, and shipyards to shape the future of the maritime industry. We are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain. Ready to make an impact at VARD? Duties and responsibilities Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Vard Electro Management System. Drive a strong quality culture and promote quality awareness across the organization. Advise management on quality management principles, requirements, and best practices. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and support certification activities. Promote risk-based thinking, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor quality performance through KPIs and report results to management. Lead internal audit programs, conduct audits, and develop auditor competence. Support process owners and subsidiaries in improving and aligning management systems. Coordinate management reviews, improvement projects, and organizational learning activities. Provide training related to quality management, audits and Synergi life. Qualifications Relevant experience Knowledge and experience with the ISO 9001 standard (or similar). Personal qualities Good knowledge of Norwegian and English, both orally and written Good cooperation and communications skills Structured and solution oriented.
