About this job

As a Junior Mechanic at our Propulsion Workshop you will be responsible for the overhaul, repair, assemble and upgrade of all types of marine propulsion systems such as Controllable Pitch Propellers, Tunnel and Steerable Thrusters, Oil Supply Units, etc. On each assigned project you shall use Wärtsilä manuals, instructions, drawings and procedures. You will have the chance to work in a technically interesting environment within the maritime industry. As a Mechanic you will be part of our Propulsion Workshop team existing of 20 propulsion professionals. For experienced Mechanics we can offer the chance to work independently at your own assigned projects in a small team. Junior/trainee mechanics will be guided and trained by our experienced colleagues.…
