Position Description To act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Electric Ireland regarding all-island wholesale market developments. This role ensures Electric Ireland’s portfolio is optimized and compliant with the Single Electricity Market (SEM) rules while leading the business through strategic and technical changes. Key Responsibilities Actively participate in and stay up-to-date with various SEM market committees and industry fora (e.g., TSC Modifications Committee, SEM Committee consultations). Review and implement strategy changes for the wholesale market, ensuring Electric Ireland is positioned to meet net-zero targets and 80% renewable integration goals by 2030.
