About this job

Digital twins — high-fidelity virtual replicas of physical systems — are essential for accelerating modern robotics research, allowing for rapid and safe testing of complex algorithms. The goal of this project is to build a realistic simulation environment for our humanoid robot, creating a "digital twin" for advanced development. During your internship, your work will involve importing the robot's 3D model into a simulator, such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Gazebo, and configuring its physics and sensors. You will be responsible for building a virtual world for the robot to interact with. In addition, you will implement a Robot Operating System (ROS) bridge to enable the simulated robot to be controlled using the same software that runs on the physical hardware.
