About the opportunity Become a vital contributor to our Cards & Wallets Segment within the Everyday Banking Domain. We are dedicated to providing a secure, seamless, and globally scalable card experience. Based in our Berlin hub, you will join a mature, high-stakes environment focused on mission-critical transaction processing. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play an essential role in your team’s delivery, working independently to increase your scope and sphere of impact. We are seeking a proficient Backend Engineer to refine our products using a modern microservice architecture built on Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot. You will be expected to maintain fluent knowledge of the codebase and act as a key contributor to technical documentation and product discovery.
