Qualified German Teacher Year 9 (20%) IES Österåker opened in August 2024 and is a modern F-9 school with high ambitions. When fully established, the school will have around 600 students across two classes per year group. We follow the Swedish national curriculum, with up to 50% of lessons taught in English. Our school is built on clear routines, high expectations, and a safe learning environment where students and staff can succeed. The school is located in central Åkersberga, about 30 minutes from Stockholm. Our campus combines newly built and renovated facilities and is close to sports facilities, nature, and the Stockholm archipelago.
