Recent advances in engineering capabilities and especially on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are contributing to a significant acceleration of the overall aircraft design process. This opens the door to a wider use of CFD for the aerodynamic and multi-disciplinary optimization of novel aircraft technologies, reducing the overall design time with a greater accuracy. The aim of this internship with an associated Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG) is to establish structured methodologies for the overall aircraft design capabilities including aerodynamic simulation and analysis of critical aircraft configurations.
