Team Overview and Job Responsibilities Prysmian Purchasing function is looking for an intern to join as a Junior Buyer in the Base Metals team. Main tasks of the role: Support the inbound Supply Chain management of aluminium and copper rod for all the group plants in Europe, on the basis of negotiated contracts. The task consists of receiving the demand from the plants, checking its consistency with Logistics HQ, proceeding to allocate to contracted suppliers optimising Prysmian's spending consistently with existing constraints (contractual obligations, supplier capacity, lead time).
