Project Context and Scope In September 2026 IOM in cooperation with Austrian Federal Chancellery will launch the Skills Mobility Partnership “EAGLE” between Austria and Egypt. The project will contribute to the deepening of economic cooperation and at the same time strengthen the regular migration routes between Egypt and Austria. The main objective is to mobilize Egypt's existing labor potential in the interests of both countries. This will be achieved through targeted investments in the skills development of the workforce in Egypt in the field of metal technology and processing for the transport sector, in particular on modern welding techniques.
