Myth vs Reality — supporting the kitchen the professional way MYTH: “Assistant means you just watch.” REALITY: You are actively involved in daily kitchen production in a hotel in Greece. You relocate for the full season and support the operational backbone of the kitchen. MYTH: “It’s just cutting vegetables all day.” REALITY: Yes, preparation is part of it — but so is timing, organization, supporting during service, maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring smooth workflow across stations.
